UST edges UP 3-2 in tight UAAP men's tennis match

University of Santo Tomas clinched a 3-2 victory over University of the Philippines in the UAAP men's tennis tournament on Wednesday at the Felicisimo Ampon Tennis Center.

Symon Jaculan and Steven Sonsona secured UST's win with a tight match against Andrei Jarata and Ava Mandac, winning 7(7)-6(3), 5-7, 10-8 in the second doubles match.

UST's Nilo Ledama and Ericjay Tangub contributed to the team's early lead by defeating Heinz Carbonilla and Loucas Fernandez respectively in singles matches.

Despite UP's comeback with victories from Miguel Iglupas and Lance Fernandez, UST managed to secure their second consecutive win.

National University triumphed over Ateneo de Manila University 5-0, while Adamson registered its first win against De La Salle University by a score of 4-1.
