UST leads women's division with fourth win

University of Santo Tomas (UST) maintained its lead in Pool A of the PNVF Under-18 Championship women's division with a victory over Gracel Christian College on Sunday, April 7.

UST secured their fourth win in four matches after dropping a set for the first time against Gracel, winning 19-25, 25-17, and 25-13.

De La Salle-Zobel (DLSZ) broke its losing streak by defeating Limitless Sports Center with scores of 25-22 and 25-15, while Colegio de Los Baños ended a two-game losing skid against Parañaque City with wins of 19-25, 25-13, and 25-12.

In Pool B, La Salle-Lipa improved to a record of 4-0 after defeating Batangas Christian School with scores of 25-22 and 25-17, maintaining their lead in the boys' division alongside Umingan, Pangasinan which also holds a perfect 3-0 record.

Other matches included Angatleta Sports of Orion, Bataan beating Golden Whiskers Club, 25-16, 25-19; and Umingan National High School winning over VNS Volleyball Club, 25-20, 24-26, 25-19.
