NU defeats UE 3-0 to strengthen Top Two bid in UAAP women's volleyball

The UAAP women's volleyball tournament resumed today with National University (NU) defeating University of the East (UE), 25-14, 25-14, 25-12, to solidify their position in the Top Two.

NU, now boasting an 8-2 record, secured another win behind the stellar performances of Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon, who contributed significantly with points and defensive plays.

The victory comes on the heels of NU's previous triumph over University of Santo Tomas (UST) before the Holy Week break, positioning them strongly for a top finish in the tournament.

In men's play, matches are scheduled at 10 a.m. between UP and DLSU, followed by FEU versus ADMU at noon on Thursday.

Both women’s teams are preparing intensively for the homestretch of the two-round prelims, where securing a Top-Two finish grants twice-to-beat incentives in the final round.
