UST, FEU advance to V-League Women's finals

University of Santo Tomas advanced to the finals of the V-League Women's Collegiate Challenge on Sunday after defeating College of Saint Benilde with a 25-23, 25-15, 25-20 victory.

UST coach Kungfu Reyes praised his team for sticking to their system and maintaining harmony, noting that they are gaining maturity in each game.

Far Eastern University secured their spot in the championship match by defeating the University of the East with a score of 25-20, 25-19, 25-21, setting up an all-UAAP finals showdown between UST and FEU on September 29 at 3 p.m.

The Golden Tigresses will face Far Eastern University in the best-of-three championship series starting Sunday.

College of Saint Benilde and University of the East are set to compete for the bronze medal match on Sunday at noon.
