Typhoon Rai moves northwest; Signal No. 1 lifted

Typhoon Rai, formerly Typhoon Odette, moved northwest over the West Philippine Sea on Sunday and is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA lifted Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 over Kalayaan Islands in Palawan as the typhoon's impact lessened.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers are expected in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, and Kalayaan Islands due to a shear line.

Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rain over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon.
