Sotto: House to pass P4.5T budget this Friday

Senate President Vicente Sotto III said Speaker Lord Allan Velasco promised to pass the P4.5-trillion national budget on third reading in the House of Representatives this Friday, October 16.

Sotto expressed hope for a good working relationship with Velasco as leaders of their respective chambers.

Previously, Cayetig-Pateros Representative Alan Peter Cayetano had suspended the session and planned to approve the budget on November 16 but changed his stance after Velasco secured the Speakership.
