Senate plans Nov. 9 session for budget, CREATE bill

The Senate plans to resume sessions on Nov. 9, a week earlier than scheduled, to tackle the P4.5-trillion national budget and the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) bill.

Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri stated that the early resumption is necessary to ensure timely deliberations of the budget and tax reform measures.

Zubiri expressed optimism that the House will pass the budget on Friday, allowing the Senate to begin its work promptly.
