Malacañang confident Senate can pass budget on time

Malacañang expressed confidence that the Senate can pass the 2021 national budget on time despite the House suspending its session.

Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said there is enough time for committee and plenary deliberations in the Senate between now and November 16.

Roque added that the Constitution allows the Senate to act on a proposed bill before receiving it from the House.
