Senators back INC's peace rally against VP impeachment

Several senators expressed support for Iglesia ni Cristo’s (INC) 'National Rally for Peace' in Manila on Monday.

Senate President Francis Escudero stressed that a call for peace is non-debatable and hoped the rally would help clarify issues and contribute to real unity among leaders.

The event, which took place at the Quirino Grandstand with simultaneous rallies across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, was organized by INC to support President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s opposition to the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
