INC holds nationwide rallies with 1.5M participants

On Monday, over 1.5 million members of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) participated in nationwide rallies calling on the government to address immediate concerns rather than engage in politicking.

The peaceful events were held across various regions, with an estimated 300,000 to 500,000 INC members gathering in Davao City alone, temporarily closing ten roads.

In Cebu City and Ormoc City, Leyte, thousands more attended the rallies, with some participants camping overnight from Sunday.

Brother Rommel Topacio of INC reminded politicians that their role is to serve the people's needs rather than engage in divisive tactics and political maneuvering.

Rep. Rodante Marcoleta, a prominent member of INC, reiterated support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s stance against Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment, citing ongoing investigations into confidential funds.
