650K Iglesia ni Cristo members gather in Manila for 'National Rally for Peace'

An estimated 650,000 members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) gathered at Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Monday, January 13, ahead of their 'National Rally for Peace'.

By 7:10 a.m., thousands of INC members with placards calling for unity had filled Bonifacio Drive and Katigbak Parkway.

To manage the influx of attendees, the MMDA designated specific roads around Quirino Grandstand as parking areas, which may cause traffic congestion in the area.

The rally aims to support President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s stance against the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.

Thousands of MMDA and Philippine National Police personnel will be deployed for security, with local government units suspending work and class on January 13.
