Romeo leads San Miguel to OT win vs. Ginebra

Terrence Romeo starred in Game 2 of the PBA Governors' Cup semis series between San Miguel and Barangay Ginebra, leading the Beermen to a crucial 131-125 overtime victory on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Romeo's clutch performance included scoring 26 points with six perfect three-pointers, including key baskets that tied the game at 117-all and gave San Miguel the lead for good in overtime.

San Miguel head coach Jorge Gallent praised Romeo for staying ready and delivering when called upon, emphasizing his role as a model for bench players.

June Mar Fajardo dominated with 23 points, 21 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks, while CJ Perez added 28 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and a steal for San Miguel.

Despite standout performances from Ginebra's Justin Brownlee (39 points) and Japeth Aguilar (29 points), the Beermen secured their win with key free throws in the final minute.
