Barangay Ginebra beats San Miguel 99-94, leads semis 2-1

Barangay Ginebra secured a 99-94 victory over San Miguel in Game 3 of the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals on Sunday, October 13.

Justin Brownlee led Barangay Ginebra with 30 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 blocks, crucially turning things around after an uncertain third quarter to give his team a 2-1 series lead.

Coach Tim Cone emphasized the importance of moving forward and praised Brownlee's performance, highlighting his contributions both in the middle of the game and down the stretch, while noting improved defensive play as key factors in the win.

Maverick Ahanmisi contributed with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Japeth Aguilar added 22 points and 8 rebounds to support Brownlee's efforts.

San Miguel's EJ Anosike scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds but was not enough for the Beermen as local stars CJ Perez, Marcio Lassiter, June Mar Fajardo, and Terrence Romeo struggled with their production.
