Philippines logs lowest daily COVID-19 cases since May

The Philippines logged 3,218 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, October 27, the lowest daily tally since May 23.

Active cases dropped to 50,152, the lowest since July 21.

There were 6,660 recoveries and 271 deaths reported.

The positivity rate was at 7.6%, with a seven-day average of new cases at 4,818.71, also the lowest since March 17.
