Philippines receives 400K Sputnik V doses, over 53M total shots administered

The Philippines received 400,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines on Thursday night.

As of now, over 53.3 million vaccine doses have been administered nationwide out of more than 91.5 million total doses received.

Over 24 million Filipinos are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, representing around 31.76% of the eligible population.

Metro Manila has the highest percentage of fully vaccinated individuals at 80%.

The government aims to vaccinate at least 50% of its target population by year-end with a daily goal of 1.5 million doses.
