DBM releases P690B for COVID-19 response

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has released P690.26 billion in funds for the government's coronavirus response programs as of September 30.

As of the end of the third quarter, P570 billion or 89.4% of the total amount has been disbursed while P637.97 billion or 92.4% have been obligated.

Under Bayanihan II, agencies have obligated P204.07 billion out of the P214 billion allotment released, leaving a balance of P10.05 billion with P4.56 billion still usable until the end of the year.

Implementing agencies have yet to spend P120.22 billion in pandemic response funds, which is nearly a fifth of the total amount released by DBM.
