Eastern Visayas, Caraga face heavy rains; Bicol reports floods

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and parts of the Bicol Region will experience heavy rains due to a tail-end frontal system and a low pressure area.

PAGASA warns that areas prone to flooding or landslides may face severe weather conditions, with some regions already reporting floods and landslides.

In Bulan, Sorsogon, floodwaters reached waist-level, leading to the evacuation of 60 families who used rescue boats for transportation.

Flooding also occurred in Presentacion due to a blocked road from a landslide, while the Mansalaya River overflowed its banks in Del Gallego, Camarines Sur.

PAGASA advises residents to remain vigilant against potential flooding and landslides as heavy rains continue.
