PAGASA raises orange rainfall warning over parts of Palawan

PAGASA raised an orange rainfall warning on Sunday afternoon for the southern portion of Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands, advising residents about potential flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous regions.

Earlier that morning, PAGASA issued a yellow rainfall warning for the same area due to heavy rains from the tail-end of a frontal system, cautioning possible flooding and landslides.

PAGASA advised the public and local disaster risk reduction councils to take appropriate actions and monitor weather updates.
