PAGASA warns of scattered rain, thunderstorms, and possible flash floods in eastern parts of Luzon, Visayas, and parts of Mindanao

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across many areas on Monday, particularly affecting eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas due to easterlies.

Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while Bicol Region, Quezon, and Aurora may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from afternoon until evening due to localized thunderstorms.

South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and Davao Occidental will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

PAGASA warns that flash floods or landslides could occur during severe thunderstorms in affected areas such as Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, Metro Manila, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and Davao Occidental.

Light to moderate winds blowing from east to southwest with slight to moderate coastal water conditions are expected in Luzon, while Mindanao will see light to moderate winds from northeast to east with similar sea conditions.
