Pagasa warns heavy rains, strong winds hit parts of Central and Southern Luzon

Parts of Central and Southern Luzon may experience rain showers on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

Moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected in Quezon, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Laguna, Zambales, Cavite, Bataan, Tarlac, Metro Manila, Rizal, Batangas, Pampanga, and surrounding areas starting two hours after Pagasa issued its advisory at 11:41 a.m.

Pagasa warns the public to be cautious of flash floods and landslides due to these weather conditions.

As of Saturday afternoon, Pagasa advises continued caution as rain showers are expected over additional areas in north and south Luzon.
