Rain showers, thunderstorms hit Metro Manila, nearby provinces

Metro Manila and several provinces may experience rain showers due to thunderstorms in the next few hours.

PAGASA issued an advisory at 11:15 am, warning that affected areas include parts of Quezon, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Rizal provinces.

Rain showers have already been reported in portions of Batangas and nearby provinces before noon.

Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides due to the ongoing weather conditions.

PAGASA emphasized that these conditions may extend to other nearby areas within the next two hours, urging people to remain vigilant.
