PAGASA monitors three LPAs, one entering PAR soon

PAGASA is monitoring three low pressure areas (LPAs) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), with one expected to enter PAR within 36 hours.

On Monday, December 28, PAGASA reported that LPAs may bring moderate to heavy rains over northern and eastern Cagayan, Isabela's eastern portion, Kalayaan Islands, and light to moderate rain in other areas.

Previously on Sunday, December 27, PAGASA stated two LPAs were less likely to develop into tropical depressions but could still cause moderate to heavy rainfall in several regions.

On Saturday, December 26, PAGASA warned that the two LPAs inside PAR would continue to trigger rain and advised caution for areas expecting heavy precipitation.
