PAGASA raises orange rainfall warning over Samar, yellow in multiple provinces

PAGASA raised an orange rainfall warning over Eastern Samar and Samar due to heavy rains from a low pressure area.

Flooding and landslides are threatening in low-lying and mountainous areas under the orange warning, while flooding and possible landslides are risks for areas under yellow warnings in Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Albay, Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, and Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.

Yellow warnings were also issued for Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Masbate including Burias Island and Ticao Island, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Agusan del Norte (Butuan and Magallanes), Agusan del Sur (Sibagat, Bayugan and Prosperidad), Davao Oriental, Zamboanga del Norte (Baliguian, Siocon, Godod and Leon B. Postigo), Zamboanga del Sur (Bayog, Kumalarang and Midsalip), Zamboanga Sibugay (Siay, Kabalasan and Roseller) and nearby areas.
