NU Lady Bulldogs dominate UP in UAAP volleyball

The NU Lady Bulldogs secured a dominant 3-0 win over the University of the Philippines in their UAAP women's volleyball match on Saturday, February 28.

Vangie Alinsug led the team with 15 points highlighted by 13 attacks in just two sets, followed by Bella Belen and Alyssa Solomon who each scored 10 markers.

Coach Norman Miguel praised his players' performance, noting their mental preparedness and the contribution of less-frequent starters like Aishat Bello and Abegail Pono.

The Lady Bulldogs outperformed UP in attacks with a score of 48-23, maintaining their strong offensive play throughout the match.

Head coach Miguel emphasized the importance of his team's 'triangle arsenal' and expressed satisfaction with their collective improvement.

NU will next face Far Eastern University on Wednesday at 4 PM, while UP aims to earn its first victory against De La Salle University on March 10.
