NDRRMC: 123 of 158 Paeng fatalities confirmed

As of Tuesday, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed that 123 out of 158 reported deaths due to Severe Tropical Storm Paeng are verified.

The majority of the fatalities were reported in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao with 63 confirmed deaths, followed by Western Visayas and Calabarzon.

NDRRMC also noted that 23 people remain missing out of a total of 34 missing person reports received.
