Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s Vanessa Sarie, Mapua University’s Arjay Ramos named Players of the Week

Vanessa Sarie of Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Arjay Ramos of Mapua University have been named the Collegiate Press Corps NCAA Players of the Week for their outstanding performances in the NCAA Season 100 volleyball tournament.

Sarie, a rookie from Naga College Foundation, led her team to a sweep over Lyceum of the Philippines University with 16 points and strong defensive plays, helping Letran solidify its hold on solo second place with a 4-0 win-loss record.

Ramos had a career-best outing against Arellano University, scoring 27 points and securing crucial receptions that helped Mapua remain unbeaten through the first round.

Both players emphasized teamwork and perseverance as key factors in their success, highlighting the importance of consistent effort throughout matches.

Sarie's performance allowed her to edge out Mapua duo Raissa Ricablanca and Nicole Ong, alongside Perpetual's Winnie Bedana to take home the weekly feat.
