Perpetual Help tops women's volleyball standings after win

University of Perpetual Help defeated Emilio Aguinaldo College in straight sets on Saturday, reclaiming first place in the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball standings.

Winnie Bedana and Daizerlyn Joyce Uy led the Lady Altas with 12 points each, while Shaila Omipon added 10 hits as Perpetual Help improved to an undefeated 5-0 record.

In another match, Mapua University recovered from a slow start to defeat Arellano University in four sets, improving their record to 3-2.

Alyana Nicole Ong and Freighanne Garcia were key contributors for Mapua with 19 and 18 points respectively, while Arellano fell to 2-3.

In men's volleyball action, Mapua also secured a victory over Arellano University in four sets, maintaining their perfect 5-0 record alongside another team.
