De La Salle beats Far Eastern in UAAP women's volleyball

De La Salle University extended its winning streak in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament by defeating Far Eastern University on Saturday, March 15.

The Lady Spikers won with scores of 25-17, 25-20, and 25-22 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, improving their record to 5-2 and maintaining their second place standing behind National University (6-0) and University of Santo Tomas (5-1).

Shevana Laput led De La Salle with a stellar performance of 22 points on 18 kills, three blocks, and one ace.

Angel Canino contributed 10 points along with seven digs and eight receptions, while Alleiah Malaluan added 12 points to the team's victory.

Setter Mikole Reyes delivered another impressive performance with 20 excellent sets, continuing De La Salle’s strong offensive play this season.
