NU women's volleyball team beats Adamson, extends streak to six

National University secured another decisive victory over Adamson in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament on Wednesday, extending its unbeaten streak to six games.

Alyssa Solomon was instrumental for NU with 22 points, while Vange Alinsug contributed 12 points as they maintained their strong performance at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Despite a close contest early on, National University pulled away late in the third set to secure a convincing sweep against Adamson with scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-18.

Veteran players Bella Belen and Erin Pangilinan added crucial points for NU, contributing nine and six respectively, as they continue to focus on improving during training sessions.

NU will face the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses in their next match this Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, aiming for a first-round sweep.
