Brownlee eyes record seventh title vs. TNT

Ginebra import Justin Brownlee remains optimistic as his team prepares for the PBA Commissioner's Cup finals against TNT Tropang Giga starting on March 14.

Brownlee aims to break Sean Chambers' record of seven championships and secure his own place in history, after losing to TNT in the past two Governors' Cups.

Tim Cone highlighted that these are lucky times for the PBA to witness Brownlee and TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson go head-to-head in another title clash.

Hollis-Jefferson seeks his third consecutive championship with TNT despite being without injured guard Jayson Castro, while Brownlee looks to add another title to tie Chambers' record of seven championships.

Standing in Brownlee's way again is Hollis-Jefferson, who averaged 28.8 points and 12.8 rebounds in the semifinals against Rain or Shine, while Ginebra has key players like Jamie Malonzo and Jeremiah Gray returning from injuries.
