Hollis-Jefferson leads TNT to Finals with double-double

TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led TNT to a 97-92 victory over Rain or Shine in Game 5 of the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, securing TNT's second straight Finals appearance.

Hollis-Jefferson recorded an impressive double-double with 42 points and 11 rebounds, along with four assists and three blocks, maintaining his composure despite foul trouble to guide TNT back into contention after trailing by as many as 13 points in the second half.

After the series, Hollis-Jefferson praised Rain or Shine for their toughness and physicality, acknowledging that the Elasto Painters pushed his team to its limits before they managed to advance with a 4-1 series victory.

TNT's dominant defense and Hollis-Jefferson’s offensive thrust solidified their position with their 24th Finals appearance in franchise history, setting the stage for another PBA Commissioner's Cup title run against either Ginebra or NorthPort.
