TNT's Nambatac steps up for Finals vs Ginebra

Rey Nambatac, TNT's guard, has taken on a larger role after Jayson Castro's injury and is leading the team into the PBA Finals against Barangay Ginebra.

Nambatac emphasized that filling all of Castro's void is impossible but he aims to produce 10 or 12 points in the playoffs to help make up for his absence, with significant support from his teammates.

In Game 5 against Rain or Shine, Nambatac contributed 12 points, eight assists, four rebounds, and two steals, helping TNT advance to their second consecutive Finals appearance.

Despite the initial pressure of stepping into Castro's role, Nambatac found positive motivation which led to significant contributions in the series.

TNT prepares for a best-of-seven title series against Ginebra, who will have reinforcements from injured players Jamie Malonzo and Jeremiah Gray, as well as former TNT player Troy Rosario.
