ITCZ, amihan bring rains across Palawan, Mindanao, Luzon

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and northeast monsoon are affecting various parts of the Philippines.

Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Aurora, Quezon, and Zamboanga Peninsula will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ and northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

PAGASA advises residents in affected areas to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
