PAGASA monitors LPA off Catanduanes

PAGASA is monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA) off Catanduanes that could bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Camarines provinces and Quezon.

The LPA was last tracked 205 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes.

Fair weather will prevail over the rest of the country as the LPA has a slim chance of developing into a tropical depression.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and rough seas while isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon will affect the rest of Luzon.

Visayas and Mindanao will have isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
