Isko Moreno orders 48-hour hard lockdown of Tondo District 1

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ordered a 48-hour 'hard lockdown' of Tondo District 1 starting May 3 until May 5.

The hard lockdown aims to conduct mass testing and assess risks related to COVID-19.

Residents will be confined to their homes, except for essential workers like health personnel and law enforcement.

This is the second area in Manila to undergo a hard lockdown; Sampaloc district was previously placed under similar restrictions.
