Davao extends ECQ till May 15

Davao City will extend its enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) until May 15 due to high-risk status as per IATF recommendations.

Mayor Sara Duterte stated that mass transportation, work-from-home schemes, and the FM Pass schedule will continue under ECQ.

Mati City welcomed the downgrade from ECQ to general community quarantine (GCQ), emphasizing adherence to health measures.

Malacañang preempted Davao's plan to ease quarantine rules by ordering high-risk areas like Davao City to remain under ECQ until May 15.
