Filipinos from Diamond Princess cruise: 80 test positive, 445 asymptomatic

Health Secretary Duque reported on Wednesday that all 445 repatriated Filipinos from the Diamond Princess cruise ship remained asymptomatic of COVID-19 throughout their flight and are now in quarantine at New Clark City.

On Tuesday, Duque stated that 80 out of 538 Filipinos aboard the M/V Diamond Princess tested positive for COVID-19; ten have been discharged with a clean bill of health.

As of Monday, 59 Filipinos had tested positive and were in hospitals while over 400 who tested negative are expected to arrive in the Philippines on Tuesday via two chartered planes.
