DOH ends contact tracing for January cases

The DOH has concluded contact tracing related to the three confirmed COVID-19 cases from January as the 14-day incubation period has passed.

Health officials have intensified surveillance mechanisms instead of continuing contact tracing efforts.

Assistant Secretary Maria Rosario Vergeire stated that further details about those who had close contacts are no longer necessary since most individuals have left the country.
