FEU Tamaraws secure wins over UE and Ateneo, extend unbeaten streak to five

The FEU Tamaraws secured victories over both University of the East (UE) and Ateneo Blue Eagles in men's volleyball matches during the UAAP Season 87 tournament, extending their dominance with a fifth straight win on Wednesday.

In the match against UE, FEU triumphed 25-16, 25-23, 25-19, maintaining an unbeaten record and securing their position as one of the top contenders in the league with a balanced team effort despite recent illness among players.

Assistant coach Rene Dulay highlighted the importance of continuous improvement and emphasized that Mikko Espartero led with eight points while Lirick Mendoza added eight points on five attacks and three blocks, contributing to their strong performance.

FEU's upcoming matches include a clash against Adamson University this Saturday, March 8, at Mall of Asia Arena.
