FEU men's volleyball team beats UE, extends winning streak to three

Far Eastern University maintained its unbeaten record in the UAAP Season 86 men's volleyball tournament by defeating the winless University of the East with scores of 25-22, 25-17, and 25-15 on Sunday.

JJ Javelona made his first start for FEU and contributed 11 points, while Martin Bugaoan had nine attacks and two blocks as the Tamaraws extended their winning streak to three games.

Coach Eddieson Orcullo expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and looks forward to continuing their strong play against University of Santo Tomas on March 3 at 12 PM.

The Tamaraws outscored the Red Warriors in attacks by 42-35 and committed fewer errors (22-15), key factors that helped them dominate the last two sets.

In the women's division, FEU rallied past UE with scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-27, and 15-11 for their second win in three starts.
