FEU edges UE 3-2 in thrilling UAAP women's volleyball match

Far Eastern University defeated the University of the East in a dramatic five-set match during the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Sunday.

Gerzel Petallo led FEU with 18 points, including 14 attacks, three blocks, and an ace, while also contributing nine digs and nine receptions.

FEU took advantage of UE's defensive struggles in sets three and four to secure a crucial win that improved their record to 2-1, despite Casiey Dongallo's career-high 30-point performance for the Lady Warriors.

Petallo emphasized the importance of composure and playing correctly after regaining her bearings in the last two sets, which proved decisive in the victory.

FEU’s next match will be against University of Santo Tomas on March 3 at 4 PM, while UE faces Adamson University earlier that day.
