FEU secures twice-to-beat in UAAP men's volleyball

Far Eastern University (FEU) secured a twice-to-beat advantage in the UAAP Season 87 Men's Volleyball Tournament with a victory over Ateneo de Manila University on Wednesday.

Amet Bituin and Lirick Mendoza were key contributors, with Bituin scoring a team-high 17 points and Mendoza adding 12 points on eight blocks.

FEU maintained their narrow third-set escape to win the decisive fourth set despite a late rally by Ateneo.

With this victory, FEU improved their record to 11-1, solidifying their position for the Final Four.

Ateneo suffered their third consecutive loss and now faces elimination with a 6-6 record, trailing De La Salle University and University of Santo Tomas by one and a half games.
