FEU beats Ateneo, stays in Final Four contention

The FEU Lady Tamaraws secured a four-set victory over the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP women's volleyball league on Wednesday, April 9.

FEU improved their record to 8-4 and maintained their position as the third seed, while Ateneo dropped to seventh place with a 4-8 record, eliminating them from Final Four contention.

Faida Bakanke led FEU with 19 points, followed by Gerz Petallo's triple-double of 13 points, 14 excellent receptions, and 12 digs.

Ateneo struggled in the fourth set, falling behind early and unable to recover despite AC Miner's 17-point performance.

The win keeps FEU in contention for the Final Four, while Ateneo's chances of reaching the playoffs have diminished as they are now out of semifinal contention.
