NU secures men's volleyball Final Four spot

National University secured its place in the UAAP Season 87 men's volleyball Final Four by sweeping University of the East with a score of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-16 on Wednesday at the Philsports Arena.

The Bulldogs' victory marked their fourth consecutive win, improving their record to 10-2 and ensuring their tenth straight Final Four appearance since Season 75.

Head coach Dante Alinsunurin praised his team's performance, noting that blocking was a key factor in their dominance over the Red Warriors.

Congolese middle blocker Obed Mukaba led NU with 14 points, including seven blocks and seven attacks, while Michaelo Buddin contributed 15 points.

With this win, National University will face Ateneo de Manila University on Sunday, April 13, aiming to secure a twice-to-beat incentive in the Final Four.
