PH reports 6,477 more COVID-19 recoveries

The Philippines reported an additional 6,477 recoveries from COVID-19 on Monday, July 5, bringing the country's total number of recoveries to 1,364,960.

Active cases increased to 51,594 with 5,392 new infections reported, while the death toll rose to 25,192 with 43 new fatalities.

The DOH noted that 91.1% of active cases are mild, 3.8% asymptomatic, 2.1% severe, and 1.5% critical.

From July 1 to 3, the country recorded a total of 7,698 recoveries and 5,908 new infections, pushing the recovery count to 1,351,691 and active cases to 53,665.

On Friday, July 2, the DOH reported 2,212 additional recoveries, bringing total recoveries to 1,344,063 or 94.4% of all infections.
