Creamline secures top seed in PVL All-Filipino Conference

Creamline secured the top seed in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference with a straight-set victory over Galeries Tower at the PhilSports Arena.

Despite trailing by eight points in the second set, Creamline rallied and won 25-15, 26-24, 25-19, ensuring they will face the No. 12 team in the qualification phase next Thursday.

A win by Petro Gazz against Nxled would extend their winning streak to nine games but cannot affect Creamline's top seeding due to FIVB tiebreaker rules.

Tots Carlos led Creamline with 18 points while Alyssa Valdez, recovering from injuries, contributed 16 points including key late-game plays in the second set.

Both teams are still vying for easier opponents in the best-of-three quarterfinals against one of the bottom-ranked teams, with Creamline aiming to secure a fifth consecutive championship.
