PLDT beats Creamline to end 19-game streak

PLDT ended Creamline's 19-game unbeaten streak with a thrilling five-set victory of 30-28, 25-21, 23-25, 18-25, 16-14 in the PVL All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at Ynares Center.

Savi Davison led PLDT with a new career-high of 34 points, including 29 kills and five blocks, while Majoy Baron contributed 15 points.

Creamline's Bernadeth Pons scored 23 points in the losing effort, but it was PLDT's comprehensive team play that secured their third consecutive victory over Creamline and improved their record to 7-3, tying them with Choco Mucho and Cignal for third place.

Davison's performance earned her unanimous recognition as the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week for February 11-15.

The win was a result of PLDT's focused effort and contributions from key players like Fiola Ceballos, Mika Reyes, and Erika Santos, who also scored in double digits.
