Quinta death toll climbs to 22, affects over 775K

As of Friday, October 30, Typhoon Quinta has affected 775,513 individuals in six regions.

The death toll due to Quinta increased to 22 across Regions V, VI, VII, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.

In Bicol Region alone, seven people died and 31 were injured.

Quinta caused flooding, landslides, maritime mishaps, and storm surges in various regions, with 66 incidents of flooding reported.

Over 220,000 families sought shelter in evacuation centers or received aid outside them.

The typhoon also led to power outages in 235 municipalities, with 84 having restored electricity by Friday.
