Quinta exits PH, new storm enters later this week

Typhoon Quinta continues to affect parts of western Luzon and Palawan despite moving away from the Philippines, while a new tropical depression is expected to enter the Philippine area later this week.

Quinta's outer circulation will bring rains over Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Western Visayas, with Metro Manila experiencing fair weather with isolated thunderstorms.

The storm has caused at least 4 deaths and displaced around 150,000 residents in Luzon.

As of Tuesday night, all Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals have been lowered as Quinta moves towards Vietnam, while light to moderate rains are expected over several regions due to its outer circulation.
