Alas Pilipinas loses to Thailand in SEA Men's V.League

Alas Pilipinas men's volleyball team lost to Thailand in straight sets, 16-25, 22-25, 24-26, during the second day of the 2025 SEA Men's V.League on Thursday in Candon City.

Despite a strong start against Vietnam with a victory earlier this week, Alas Pilipinas struggled to maintain their momentum as Thailand dominated the match from the outset, winning the first set by a wide margin and clinching the hard-fought third set with late-game scoring.

Thailand's Anurak Phanram, Amornthep Khonhan, and Prasert Pinkaew were key contributors in the victory, while Buds Buddin and Leo Ordiales led the Philippine team with 11 and 10 points respectively.

Alas Pilipinas now has a 1-1 win-loss record, while Thailand improved to an undefeated 2-0 standing at the top of the league table.

The Philippines will face Cambodia in their next match on Saturday.
